These pots are thrown using Limoges porcelain and are fired to 1240c in an electric kiln.
Porcelain is a very strong clay, which means that the pots can be very thin and apparently fragile whilst remaining durable. The thinness of the pottery gives a sense of lightness which is further enhanced by the translucent quality of fine porcelain.
